As a new track and field coach in 2006, I was disappointed by the timing system used at our school, which was either hand-timing or to hire a timer who was always late. With the support of our booster club, school and team we were able to purchase the school's first Finishlynx timing system. I dove head-first into the system and taught myself how to run it well and how to time accurate and efficient meets.
Diablo Timing was started in late 2014 to provide database, timing, and reporting services for a variety of racing environments, no matter the size. From small cross country meets to large track and field invitationals like the Dan Gabor Distance and Sprint Festival, which boasts 181 heats of sprints/hurdles/relays and 52 heats of distance races in a one-day meet (2016), we can handle any timing or event management needs.
